omwow?

It’s a place where you find things that make you either go

OMMMMMMM – they make you more peaceful, present, and calm you down

or

WOW – they’re interesting, beautiful, moving, exciting, important.

Anything that falls into either of these categories is what you’ll find on omwow.

Honestly, as of right now this is just a project where I put some of my creative energies into, and that I use to practice to work consistently on one single project for a long period of time. My goal is to have at least 100 articles on this page by the end of this year.

I’ve started and abandoned so many different projects, and I love the idea of working on one thing that’s truly my own over a long period of time. To create something that’s an expression and manifestation of who I am, what I truly care about, my journey through life. I just want to create something that truly moves me, and who knows, maybe it’ll move some other folks too, because in the end, we’re all unique, but also not that different.

Whether this will ever become something worthwhile for anyone other than me—I don’t know. But I surely hope so. But even if it remains just something that I myself cherish and value, that I myself enjoy working on, that I myself enjoy putting my time and energy into, then it’s going to be worth it.

What’s that old Indian saying? You have the right to the labor, but not the fruits of the labor. Something along those lines.

I will put my emphasis here more on being consistently prolific rather than trying to get things right every time. More output, more practice, more creation. Less perfection, planning, and pondering. I’ve got enough of that going on in my life already.

If you happen to read this and it speaks to you, for any reason whatsoever (maybe you can relate?) hit me up in the comments. I’d love to hear from you! Right now, you still have the chance of claiming the honorable title of being the very first commenter of omwow 😀

Where to start?

This is a pretty ecclectic creative playground of mine, so I’ll share some of my favorite articles here:
